HAI PHONG (VNS) — Authorities in the northern port city of Hai Phong yesterday rewarded a police team VND20 million ($948) for seizing more than 6kg of methamphetamine in a drug bust.
On Wednesday, the police team arrested two drug dealers and seized the methamphetamine after a raid on the Hoang Thach Hotel in the city’s Hong Bang District. The value of the seized drugs is estimated at VND7 billion (US$332,000).
The arrested drug dealers have been identified as Nguyen Thanh Quan, 31, and Vu Nhu Tung, 37. — VNS
