NINH THUAN (VNS) — A 34-year-old woman from Quang Ninh Province’s Ha Long City was detained yesterday for carrying 70 kg of explosives and 100 detonators on a motorbike.
The woman was detained near the city’s Ha Khau road. According to police, the woman said she had bought the explosives from a man in Mao Khe town for VND11.5 million (US$535) and was intending to resell the goods at a premium.
She has been transferred to the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department for further investigation.— VNS
