The 11th session of provincial people’s council XI (term 2011 – 2016) on April 25 closed successfully after one day of hard working in stead of 2 days earlier as planned. It ratified 9 important resolutions.
The significant resolution is the encouraged policy for any individuals or teams winning in national and international competitions in fields of sports, education, IT, telecommunication and technological invention.
Delegates almost agreed with the support requisitions proposed by provincial people’s committee. It will encourage winners’ efforts, especially in regional games or international games that are extremely hard.
Regarding the promotional policies to attract hi-skilled and professional doctors and pharmacists, it is divided into five groups of support. Accordingly, the highest payment will be applied in communes and difficult areas such as island and mountain, those will be lower than in city and towns.
This policy is highly appreciated by members of PPC because Quang Ngai has been facing the serious shortage of doctors in health stations. It is released that the ratio of doctor per one million people is 5.03, while the national percentage is about 7.2.
Since 2008 Quang Ngai has seen a quit of 45 doctors because of low salary. Therefore, this support policy will keep their long-term works in localities.
Requisitions of quantity, positions, support policies for unspecialized staffs in village, commune, and wards in city were ratified with total capital of 184 billion VND sourced from provincial budget.
The session also ratified the resolution of giving names to some new roads in the northern district of Binh Son and the southern district of Duc Pho, where has been under urbanization.
Closed the 11th session, deputy chairwoman of Quang Ngai provincial people’s council (PPC) Truong Thi Xuan Hong highlighted the hardworking of PPC’s members in discussing 9 proposals of Quang Ngai provincial people’s committee.
She also highly appreciated the clear and detail explanations of provincial people’s committee.
She requested provincial people’s committee and relevant departments to soon put new resolutions into application.
