The National Assembly (NA) Deputy Delegation of Hai Duong province on June 26 was divided into three groups to meet voters in six districts, provincial town, and city.
Mr. Bui Thanh Quyen, Member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Council, Head of the provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, and Binh Giang district voters
Voters suggested that the NA Deputy Delegation of Hai Duong province speak more actively and improve the quality of questions to Government members at subsequent sessions.
The NA deputies at the next session should put questions on the situation of “false losses, real profits” of big economic groups and corporations, especially in electricity and petroleum.
Voters also proposed many issues on agriculture, farmers, and rural areas. The State and province should increase the funding level to support new countryside construction, field road making, field rearrangement, land mergence, and plot change.
The State should have measures to efficiently manage varieties and plant protection products; criminally handle individuals and establishments producing fake fertilizers and pesticides.
The agriculture and rural development sector should strengthen coordination with functional sectors to open classes for the transfer of scientific and technical advances and field seminars for farmers.
The State should have policies assisting farmers in finding outlets for agricultural produce.
National Assembly deputies meet Nam Sach district voters
The province should direct functional sectors to guide the implementation of the amended Land Law.
The State should raise the level and term of lending with regard to poor and near poor households so that they will have conditions for economic development.
Voters in Cam Giang district requested the province to clearly stipulate the time limit for fields abandoned by farmers to be recovered for transfer to farming households with demand for use to avoid the situation of farmers fallowing rice land.
The province should direct localities to accelerate the progress of granting certificates of land-use right and handle redundant, sandwiched land cases. The province needs to resolutely recover land in suspended projects and refund land compensations to people.

Regarding the fields of culture and society, voters requested the province to reconsider salary scale arrangement for preschool teachers at semi-public schools which are turned into public ones.
The State and province should intensify the management of drug prices, publicly post up drug prices, and enhance the quality of medical examination and treatment as material facilities at district hospitals were yet to meet people’s demand for medical examination and treatment. Many universities did not meet requirements. The quality of trade union activities at several private and foreign-invested enterprises was poor, etc.
Cam Giang voters suggested that the province strengthen inspection and handling of overloaded vehicles running on provincial and district roads.
Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Quyen informed voters that the province had approved investment priority for 18 communes building new countryside so that the communes would finish in 2014, 2015. Investment in the remaining communes in the province will be continued through programs and projects.
The province is also striving for all localities in the province to use clean water by 2015.
