Scene of the meeting
In the morning of July 29, Acting Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Quang Thich chaired a meeting with related departments and agencies to discuss about the construction of the late Prime Minster Pham Van Dong Commemorative Park (the Commemorative Park) – phase 2.
Accordingly, phase 2 of the Commemorative Park will be invested and constructed Commemorative Park’s phase 1′s completion, including building lotus pond, display house, fence, orchard, infrastructure, etc with the total area of 33,817m2.
Currently, the whole expanded land for second phase has been compensated and ready for the investor to start construction. As planned, the project will complete its construction by 2016.
Addressing at the meeting, Acting Chairman Le Quang Thich basically agreed with content reported by the department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Regarding to the Commemorative Park’s space, besides the private and hallowed space, Acting Chairman Thich suggested the investor to design an open space for the Commemorative Park, creating a friendly place for local people.
