(VOV) – Vietnam is one of 87 countries from around the globe participating in the 18th International Berlin Beer Festival which kicked off in the glamorous, vibrant capital city of Berlin, Germany on August 1.
The Vietnamese stall is a brilliant synthesis of images of the nation’s tourism appeal, traditional cuisine, and art and handicrafts; embodying the country’s ethnic groups and national heritage sites, a symbolic representation of Vietnamese cultural history.
Art performances by the dance group Bonita from Vietnam on opening day received a warm welcome by foreign audiences. As well, thousands of visitors came to Vietnamese stall to taste beer, food and view artistic presentations.
This is the 14th consecutive year Vietnam’s beer, culture, tourism and food has been introduced to international friends at the festival, said, Sales Asia Sky Tours Company sale manager Nguyen Xuan Hung
The three-day festival themed “Craft-brewed beer specials” is expected to welcome 800,000 visitors and an estimated 700,000 litres beer will be consumed.
