| On December 8th, the Power Transmission Company No 2 kicked off the construction of the project to hang the second wire circuit for the Hoa Khanh – Hue 220kV transmission line. The project aims to enhance the unity of 220kV grid in central coastal provinces as well as speed up the association between Da Nang 500kV transformer station and Phong Dien 500kV transformer station (Thua Thien- Hue). It is capitalized by more than VND106 billion by the National Power Transmission Corporation.  Photo: nangluongvietnam.vn The Hoa Khanh- Hue 220kV transmission line which is 82 kilometers in length, is designed with two circuits. It is part of level-one energy projects and has the main of function of connecting to hydroelectric plants to reduce the capacity for projects in Thua Thien – Hue. The project is expected to put into operation in the second quarter of 2015. Earlier, the first wire circuit was completed on July 15th, 2002./. |
