PANO – Military Hospital 175 (Ministry of National Defence), in association with the University of Seoul (Republic of Korea) and Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, opened a training course on December 15th on initial care for patients with cerebro-vascular diseases. Joining the training were neurologists from civilian and military hospitals in some provinces.
In two days, various topics were introduced, including the detection, diagnosis, treatment and care-taking for patients with cerebro-vascular diseases, functional neurosurgery, recognizable symptoms and signs of cerebro-vascular accidents, etc. During the course, participants also practiced neurological examination at Military Hospital 175.
Addressing the course, Major General Prof. Nguyen Hong Son, Director of Military Hospital 175, said, “This training course is practically significant to not only the medical staff of central hospitals, but also those at the grassroots levels, providing knowledge and experience for medical personnel in providing initial care for patients with cerebro-vascular diseases.”
