PANO – A collection consisting of 240 dolls in the outfit of 18 Vietnamese ethnic groups, including large groups such as the Dao, H’mong, Muong and smaller groups like the Kho Mu, Khang, has become unique materials for the decoration of a Christmas tree this year.
With the costumes rich in colors, materials and decorative motifs, the dolls have been made in elaborate details, making the dolls themselves subtle and unique ornament for the Christmas tree, while preserving the traditional features of the ethnic groups.
The Christmas tree is a product of artist Nguyen Hoang Anh on display at Hilton Hanoi Opera Hotel. Displayed from December 4th, the proceeds from the dolls will be donated to children of the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation.
