PANO – 28 selected arts works made in the 2013-2014 period were honoured with the capital’s Literature and Arts Awards at a ceremony held by the Hanoi Literature and Arts Association on January 20th.

The selected works displaying nine forms of art (literature, music, theater, fine art, photography, cinema, dance, folk art and architecture) include outstanding ones, such as the novel “Cua hieu giat la” (The laundry) by Do Bich Thuy, the critical literary essay “Thoi toc do va tam ly sang tao” (Speed and creative sense) by Pham Khai, etc.
According to Poet Bang Viet, the association’s Chairman, these works deserved the awards because of their high artistic value and rich contents that not only capture public’s attention but also reflect the images of the capital and people in the national industrialization and modernization.
