On January 9th, the Vietnam Students’ Association in Phu Yen province collaborated with the Youth Union and the Student Association of Banking Academy-Phu Yen branch to organize many practical activities on the 65thanniversary of the Students’ Traditional Day (January 9th, 1950-January 9th, 2015).

Accordingly, the 3600 Club of Banking Academy – Phu Yen branch and 47 Korean and Japanese teachers, students held the “Gratitude Lunch” by cooking meals and freely delivering 600 servings to poor patients under treatment at the Provincial General Hospital; organizing the presentation and eloquent contest in English for the clubs, teams, the groups who are interested in English. On the same day, the delegation held the uninterrupted movement games at Tuy Hoa’s beach with the following contents: sailing on land; passing over the bridge with handy ladders; rolling through the human sea; people boat; through the EastSea and love wheelbarrow.
In the evening, the officials of the Youth Union, Associations, teachers and students all reviewed the way of the 65 years for Vietnam Student’s Traditional Day and participated in festivals with clubs, teams, groups from the professional schools in the province through the rich, vibrant contests. On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union presented 47 souvenirs to Korean and Japanese lecturers, students; 5 universities and colleges in the province and the Youth Union in Tuy Hoa city awarded five scholarships to five students with specially difficult circumstances in the city, with VND 500,000 for each; officers, teachers in the Vietnamese Faculty of the Korea Pusan University presented one scholarship worth VND 3 million to a student in extremely difficult circumstance; officials, lecturers in the Vietnamese Faculty of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Ho Chi Minh City awarded three scholarships to poor students of Banking Academy-Phu Yen branch, VND 1 million for each.
In addition, the representatives of Saigon Stock Joint Corporation of Beer – Wine – Beverage awarded a symbolic table of VND 400 million to the Provincial Youth Union to build 4 Kindness-Houses, 4 concreted volleyball yards, 8 roads of “Lightening the country roads”.
