PANO – Senior Lieutenant General Ngo Xuan Lich, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army, on January 26th inspected army units stationed in Da Nang city.
After inspections, the General at the meetings with the units valued their achievements in closely cooperating with local authorities in carrying out military and defence tasks, building strong defensive areas, and strengthening the whole-people defence posture.

They also followed instructions and resolutions of higher commands, promoted training quality and combat readiness, teamed with relevant agencies to ensure social order, firmly protected national sovereignty over the seas and islands, effectively do business, and improved troops and defence employees’ standard of living.
The General requested the units to continue heightening their revolutionary vigilance and combat readiness to successfully tackle all issues in any circumstances, augment troops’ abilities, minimize the number of military regulation violations and traffic accidents, and effectively implement search and rescue missions.
On this occasion, he sent them best wishes on the coming Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday in 2015.
