PANO – The Defence Labor Union and Military Women Central Board on December 17th visited and presented gifts to heroine of the People’s Armed Forces Le Thi Cuu, 71, in Xuan Luong commune, Thuong Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province.
She received the title at the age of 30 while working at Factory Z121 of the General Department of Defence Industry.
On the occasion, the labor union granted VND 30 million to support Cuu to repair her downgraded house, while the women union and the General Department of Defence Industry gave her VND 5 million and a TV, respectively.
